Abstract

Savin' Grace is a novel that explores the complexities of interpersonal familial relationships. Specifically it examines the relationships of parent to parent, parent to child, and sibling to sibling. Four chapters are presented for this project. These chapters introduce the main characters Grace and her daughter Kenya, as well as set the pace and foundation for the completion of Savin' Grace. This work puts to use a combination of an interpretation of life and relationships with creative writing techniques.
