Participants will receive knowledge and tools to support the implementation of local norms and universal screening within the boundaries of rural gifted programming. Participants will examine the variables impacting gifted identification and programming in rural school districts, evaluate rural gifted identification scenarios, and will explore ways to adapt universal screening and local norms to their own rural school districts' identification process.
