Abstract
The Physician Leadership on National Drug Policy has just released its long-awaited study on national drug policy. This group, which included former members of the Reagan, Bush and Clinton administrations, has challenged government drug policy, and in particular the role of the criminal justice system and this country's ill-fated experiment with drug criminalization.
