Abstract

This is a collection of stories that seeks to document through fantasy the felt realities of the present moment. It is a scientific endeavor to the extent that I seek precision and a certain objectivity in my pursuit. The success or failure of this collection is yet to be determined as that judgment rests in the hands of readers, not myself. I have tried my best to tell the truth contained in fantasy however unpleasant or undesirable it seems to be. I’ve followed my instincts, like an animal, and have been satisfied with the result. I can’t say I’ve brought home the big kill yet, but I’ve had a few good days in the field.
