Abstract

Clasp is a diptych composed of two books of poetic prose. Book One is titled Between Grammars. It is a story that explores the invisible architectures built between people and their vocabulary while reading and writing. Book Two is titled Clasp, a book that tracks and collects— through close attention to syntactical patterns—the dislocations of a self. It investigates the symbiotic bonds that link a writer—through language—to her readers.
