Abstract
Despite the large interest in mergers and acquisitions represented, many recent studies have reported high failure rates within these mergers. This failure is often attributed to the cultural differences between partners. This study proposes an agile organizational change model to effectively and rapidly integrate two distinct and different IT cultures into one new culture after the merger. The new model emphasizes managing human capital in an agile manner for creating a changeable organization. A step by step plan provides how to achieve organizational effectiveness using the agile change model, which will occur over a four month time frame. The proposed agile organizational change model is selected for the similarity with studies on organizational change models, culture diversity, and global culture integrations.
