Abstract
This capstone focuses on Memorable Mementos' under performing website (www.memorable-mementos.com). It uses design principles and studies of the cognitive load to determine the problems that need to be addressed within the site itself. While working on this project it was discovered that while there were quite a few issues with the site. The first was its lack of understanding of design principles. Secondly it was the lack of understanding of what it takes to minimize the cognitive load of users. This document includes data on design principles and trends used to design a more successful website for Memorable Mementos. It also includes findings on what it takes to minimize cognitive load.
