Abstract
Ì lves: Genetic Revolution is an exploration of the dichotomy of two worlds: one that has become immersed in technology to the point of symbiosis and another that strives to live in harmony with nature. Combining a mixture of science fiction and fantasy, the story follows a young man named Alex in a technologically advanced world where humanity is faced with the next phase in human evolution. Using methods found in my research of acclaimed science fiction writers, futurists, and academics, I drafted the manuscript. In the early chapters I implemented techniques focused on writing about technology and science. Merging my own observations of society with those of contemporary writers and philosophers, I explore the consequences of hyper-advanced technology.
