Abstract
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell says the “American people should have a voice in the selection of their next Supreme Court justice,” but that’s not what he really means. If he did, he and other Senate Republicans would hold hearings and vote on President Obama’s nominee to succeed Justice Antonin Scalia.
