Abstract

Change, conflict, and communication are organizational realities too entwined to be considered separately. The subject firm faces challenges as it works to assimilate two major changes and to make the necessary adjustments to how it deals with conflict and handles communication. Literature in all three fields is consulted in order to answer questions arising from observation of the organization. Based on the literature and the observations, a plan is developed. The project explores change in progress, illustrating both the dynamic nature of an organization and the interconnectedness of change, conflict, and communication; it also demonstrates the need to make adjustments to a change plan as implementation will reveal strengths and weaknesses not anticipated at the outset.
