Abstract

The global healthcare industry is in dire need of skilled workers willing to pursue a career working with under-served communities around the world. Currently, the University of Denver (DU) does not have a specific area where students and faculty can come to seek guidance in pursuit of a career in global healthcare. This project develops a plan to create an interest group on the DU campus that can aid individuals who want to pursue a career working with the under-served. Presentation of the plan to the DU community will inform them of the need of such an interest group on campus that can help develop the passion for those interested in working with the under-served.
