Abstract
Retaining high performing employees is perhaps the most critical component of any company's success, and yet retention is often thought about in a reactive manner. Successful retention processes and procedures can ensure that the right people stay actively engaged with high levels of job satisfaction, thereby reducing turnover, low performance, and decreased productivity critical to the ongoing success of organizations. This Capstone Project creates for managers and HR professionals a roadmap for successful retention, focused on a strategic best practice guide to ensure that managers are proactively and continually assessing job satisfaction levels of high performing employees. By utilizing the retention roadmap for successful retention, Human Resources and managers can keep high performers actively engaged and loyal to the employer.
