Abstract
An increasing number of businesses are searching for ways to take part in the growing consumer expectation of limitless access to online social networking and resources. Some businesses have realized that with strategic participation in this trend, they could move closer toward their ultimate goal of becoming personally interconnected with consumers in their daily endeavors. This was also the realization that the website developers of BabyTalk.com came to. BabyTalk.com was in need of a completed website and a hook into social communities. This could be achieved through research into how users could become socially connected and engaged in the website, with the final goal of enhancing the website to attract new members and create a welcoming feel to the site.
