Abstract
This creative capstone project describes the development of a modern web application. The document specifically addresses development of an application that solves a current communication problem with text messaging but also includes modern development methodologies that apply to the creation of any modern web application. This document can be used to create the specific application known as TextQueue, but it also addresses many issues with building any modern web application and therefore can be used for other projects. It includes a requirements document that incorporates use cases, a modern design that includes wire frames built with the Bootstrap front-end framework, and instructions for incorporating Agile methodology, iterative development, mobile first, and responsive design to improve the web development process.
