Abstract

Grief, though something we all experience, can be very lonely and isolating. This Capstone Project is a collection of twenty reflective poems on the topic of grief, written with the intent to reduce the isolation one feels while grieving. This Capstone Project is based on the ideas and theories of bibliotherapy and poetry therapy, which are included in the project contexts section. This Capstone Project includes a detailed description of how the Project was created, as well as a critical reflection describing the author's experience while writing the poems included in this project.
