Abstract

A comprehensive marketing plan is the key to success for any startup business. If the business is new and functioning on a limited budget the challenge is to use marketing strategies that do not require a large investment yet reach the maximum number of people in the target market. This Capstone Project focuses on the essential elements required for a marketing plan for a small home-based business operated by a sole owner which sells crafts made by the women labor force in Pakistan and sold in Denver. A largely untapped niche of the market is served that caters to the taste of people who have respect for high quality handmade crafts and are willing to compensate for the unique item.
