Abstract
The specialty coffee retail industry is led by large companies such as Starbucks Coffee, Caribou Coffee, and others. Many of these companies dominate the market with strong financial resources, multiple locations, and a dedicated following. This applied Capstone Project examines the industry and proposes a new innovative business concept. The result of the project is a Strategic Business Plan for a unique, one-of-a-kind specialty coffee retail store in Denver that creates a new niche in the competitive marketplace.
