Abstract

This project will research in depth the methodologies of effective succession planning. The research conducted for this Capstone will determine if succession planning can be enhanced to increase the success of an organization by reducing the negative impact of departing employees? The project will also explore the history of succession planning, discuss the traditional and nontraditional methods of succession planning and their necessity, and identify important enhancements to succession planning.
